The Quran does not explicitly or implicitly forbid images of Muhammad. In so far as historians know, there was never an image of Mohammed drawn, painted or carved. It makes you wonder why they go stoned cold fucking batshit crazy when someone draws Mohammed. They've made it very clear as history proceeds before our eyes that any depiction of Mohammed will be taken as a very serious insult. Keep in mind that there was no contemporaneous pictures ever made of Mohammed and there is only a brief verbal description of him. We can safely assume he had a beard. So basically, no one knows what he looked like if he truly existed at all. There is nothing in the Quran about hiding Muhammad's visage in any way, shape, or form. It's actually something a Sunni fundamentalist splinter cult came up with relatively recently, historically speaking. The Quran does not explicitly or implicitly forbid images of Muhammad. The goal, of course, is to stifle criticism and satire of Muhammad, one of the most ridiculous fictional religious characters ever vomited forth by charlatans in the history of the world. This is because questions, criticism, and satire are the weapons that defeat fearmongering tyrannical cults and fascism. Fundamentalist Islam infects tolerant societies by slowing extracting special privileges in the name of "fair treatment" and "avoiding giving offense" (sound familiar?). Slowly but surely, they gain increased privileges as they work to breed out the native population. When they have enough special treatment and their numbers are high enough, they take over the nation with the kind of disastrous results we see in contemporary Iran, etc. And, of course, they throw out all of tolerance the minute they have uncontested power. This has been their modus operandi for over twelve centuries...well, that and outright barbarism. Islam is one of the evilest and most pernicious of fearmongering cults ever conceived and it remains as dangerous and barbaric today as it was in the 7th century. Prophet Muhammad married 3 of his daughters off before the age of 10, married and raped a 9 year old Aisha when he was 53, married a 17 year old girl when he was 60. He also allowed his followers to marry very young children In the year 610, the same year, he first received his revelation from Allah, he married 3 of his daughters off to his cousins. His daughters, Umm Kulthum was 7, Ruqqaiya was 9, and Zaynab was 11. The boys they married were most likely 10-20 years older than them. In the year 620, he married Aisha, the daughter of his best friend, when she was 6 and she moved into his house when she was 9, which is when he raped her. She was 9 and he was 53. And btw this is from the Kutub al Sitah, and more importantly Sahih Bukhari and Muslim, the most important books in Islam after the Quran (the Quran provides zero personal details about Prophet Muhammad or his companions or wives, which is why hadiths and the biography of Muhammad are REQUIRED in Islam, to provide much needed context to Quran verses, Sahih Bukhari is the most trusted book of hadiths in Islam/2nd most important book in Islam after the Quran, which is where Aisha's age is mentioned multiple times). References/sources to this will be in the comments In the year 629, Muhammad went to war with a Jewish tribe, where he later married one of the captured girls, Saafiya, he killed her parents and her husband, actually he tortured her husband in order for him to reveal where the tribe's valuables were located, so Muhammad and his cult followers could take it for themselves. Saafiya was captured by the Muslims and Muhammad married her when she was 17 and Muhammad was 60. From Muhammad's seerah (an extremely important part of Islam is Muhammad's seerah, meaning his biography) The Prophet gave orders concerning Kenana to Zubayr, saying, 'Torture him until you root out and extract what he has. So Zubayr kindled a fire on Kenana's chest, twirling it with his firestick until Kenana was near death. And if you dont believe me, ask any Islamic imam or shiekh or mufti about this Quran 65:4 says that a very young girl who has not yet started menustrating can remarry after a waiting period of 3 months, which undeniably without any shred of doubt, shows that girls who are too young to menustrate can get married and their husbands can have sex with them according to Islam. Tafsir of Quran 65:4 (read all the tafsirs from classic scholars of Islam if you can, they all say the same thing); iddah in Islam means how long a girl must wait before remarrying Al Tabari says The interpretation of the verse "And those of your women as have passed the age of monthly courses, for them the 'Iddah (prescribed period), if you have doubt (about their periods), is three months; and for those who have no courses (i.e. they are still immature) their 'Iddah (prescribed period) is three months likewise". He said: The same applies to the 'idaah for girls who do not menstruate because they are too young, if their husbands divorce them after consummating the marriage with them. Believe me, this is just the tip of the iceberg, I didnt even go into many of the other hadiths and reports from Muhammad's biography, like how he sucked on the tongue of an infant boy, or had non penetrative sex with Aisha, when she was 6-8 years old, how he told a man that he should have married a virgin girl to marry instead of a matron because she would be more fun for him, how he said virgin girls are like fruits on trees because the post would be too long This just shows how wicked and evil Prophet Muhammad was, he was a child rapist, a pedophile, a pervert, a predator, and a vile individual
