Religion has convinced people that there's an invisible man - living in the sky - who watches everything you do every minute of every day. And the invisible man has a special list of ten things he does not want you to do. And if you do any of these ten things, he has a special place, full of fire and smoke and burning and torture and anquish, where he will send you to live and suffer and burn and choke and scream and cry forever and ever 'til the end of time.... But he loves you! Why don't the priests, pastors, ministers, deacons, bishops, cardinals, rabbis, and imans of the churches gather together every Sunday morning and pray to Jesus, Allah or Yahweh for the money they need? Why doesn't Jesus, Allah or Yahweh answer their prayers? Why do churches have to beg for money from mere mortals when there is an immortal, all-powerful God who should provide anything they ask for? Why are there so many stupid followers who give the clergy money to sustain themselves in a better living style.

God is a ludricous fantasy designed to provide career opportunities for all the family idiots. To be in the age group between 40-70 in the year 2010 and be so terrifyingly ignorant of science such that you believe in big imaginary sky fairies is breathtaking. Being a member of the clergy and dedicating your entire life to big imaginary sky fairies is insanity. Priests should be stripped naked, hung upside down and used as clappers in their own bells. I do not know the total headcount of the clergy (pastors, priests, rabbis) but these are fundamentally non-productive people. They produce nothing, make nothing that really improves society in any way. They are deadwood in our society. If you cannot, or are unable or unwilling to accept reality for what it really is, then you are either retarded, stupid or delusional. Take your pick.
It was a shame to waste money to teach them biology, astronomy or science in general and watch them go into the service of God, the imaginary sky fairy, so they could peddle their superstition. All they do for their lives is to study the Bible, the Torah or the Quran, all of which are really horrible works of fiction. Their income is based on contributions of their audience. They are leeches or maggots, feeding on their parishioners. As one of their flock (meaning you regard yourself to be sheep), you listen to these morons telling you what will happen to you after death even if they have not experienced death themselves to develop that knowledge and experience. They tell you not to jerk off but the catholic clergy are having anal sex with altar boys. They stand firm upon the bare proposition that God has spoken authoritatively and inerrantly in the pages of the holy Scripture. We often talk about Muslim extremists, but the clergy here in Framingham are Christian or Jewish extremists.
The clerical profession work tirelessly in misdirecting the human race by suggesting we ignore the evidence we see before us, such as evolution.. They are the true evolution deniers. They never open their mouths without subtracting from the sum of human knowledge. I refuse to argue with any member of the clergy, including priests, pastors, rabbis and imans and any of their junior lackeys.
It just seems counterintuitive to have members of the clergy that are intelligent. They are all evolution deniers. The carefully prepared weekly sermons by the Framingham clergy are chiefly used to facilitate the infection of idiocy, promote non-intellectual crime, and commit fraud in general on a large scale.
Most Catholic priests are either virgins (from day one) or are celibate. This celibacy policy dramatically increases their chances that they will engage in some deviant sexual behaviour. No one explains religion better than George Carlin.
A celibate clergy is an especially good idea, because it tends to suppress
any hereditary propensity toward fanaticism.

Have you noticed that the pastors normally have the title of Rabbi or the words The Reverend before their names. This is to give you the illusion that they actually know something. Getting a degree in religion or divinity or theology is like getting a Phd in Telly Tubby Anatomy or Warp Core Engineering. Both of these fields can get quite complex, but both are based on absolute bullshit, just like theology or religion, but admittedly one can find plenty of humor in religion.

The costumes worn by religious leaders tend to get more esoteric as you move up the ranks. As they say in the soap business, When you're selling soap, packaging is all important.
Rabbi Yakov Lazaros and his article on Passover is an example of unbounded stupidity that motivated me to become The Militant Atheist. Imagine if you will, some person dedicating his entire life to worshipping some other imaginary creature like Daffy Duck or Spongebob Square Pants.

How come churches all want to be the First Church of This or That and no one claims to be the Second Church of This or That. Why do suppose that is? They can't all be first, can they? The only reason that clergy continues to exists is the following statement.

The root of the word "religion" is usually traced to the Latin religare (re: back, and ligare: to bind), so that the term is associated with "being bound." We call it religion because it has nothing to do with reality.
