Once upon a time, In Genesis 22:1, God tested Abraham's faith with this quote And it came to pass after these things, that God did tempt Abraham, and said unto him, Abraham: and he said, Behold, here I am. He said, "Take now your son, your only son, whom you love, Isaac, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I will tell you." How would you feel if God had quoted And it came to pass after these things, that God did tempt Abraham, and said unto him, Abraham: and he said, Behold, here I am. He said, "Take now your son, your only son, whom you love, Isaac, and go to the land of Moriah, and suck his penis as an offering to me on one of the mountains of which I will tell you." Which God is more moral? In the end, there was the circumcision option... And it came to pass after these things, that God did tempt Abraham, and said unto him, Abraham: and he said, Behold, here I am. He said, "Take now your son, your only son, whom you love, Isaac, and go to the land of Moriah, and circumcise him as an offering to me on one of the mountains of which I will tell you." Next question I have is: When the Lord appeared to Abraham, was Abraham available or was he busy taking a shit, or fucking his wife. Inquiring minds want to know. According to the Bible (Genesis 17), Abraham circumcised himself, along with all males in his household (including his 13-year-old son Ishmael) on the same day, at age 99, as a sign of the covenant God made with him. Both Jewish tradition (citing Rashi) and Islamic tradition (Hadith) affirm that Abraham performed this act himself, sometimes noting he used a flint knife.
